Styles

Styles define the overall visual aesthetic of your sequence — color palette, artistic direction, lighting, and rendering approach. Every sequence requires a style.

Selecting a Style#

When creating or editing a sequence, the style selector appears below the script editor as a row of tiles.

Quick Selection#

The composer shows a one-row selection of square tiles with:

• Preview image — A sample image showing the style's look
• Name overlay — The style name at the bottom of the tile
• Selection highlight — A primary-color border and subtle scale-up when selected

The leading Automatic tile derives a visual style from the script and keeps that generated style with the sequence. Use the category selector to narrow the visible catalog without hiding AI recommendations.

Click Recommend styles to rank a snapshot of the current script. Recommended tiles include the AI's reasoning and remain stable until the script changes; recommendations do not rerun on every keystroke.

Full Catalog#

Click the More tile (shown with a ... icon) to open the full catalog. It provides search, category shortcuts, category-grouped results, and locale-aware sorting. Selecting a tile opens its detail view with the preview, description, use cases, sample videos, recommended models, and preferred aspect ratio. Choose Use this style to apply it to the current sequence, or Try to replace the composer with that style's sample after confirmation.

Localized Built-In Styles#

Built-in style names, descriptions, and category labels are shown in the current interface language. English and Simplified Chinese are currently available, and style lists use locale-aware sorting.

Search matches both the translated display text and the canonical English text, so a built-in style can still be found with its English name while the interface is in Chinese. User-created styles keep the name and description entered by the user.

Localization only changes presentation. Stable template keys and canonical English values continue to be used by URLs, media assets, APIs, database seed synchronization, and AI prompts.

How Styles Work#

Each style includes a configuration object that influences the AI generation:

• Color Palette — Defines the dominant colors. When no preview image is available, a gradient is generated from the palette.
• Artistic Direction — Guides the overall visual treatment (photorealistic, cinematic, illustrated, anime, etc.)
• Rendering Approach — Affects how prompts are constructed for image generation

Style Categories#

Some motion models require specific style categories. For example, the Seedance 2 motion model is restricted to animation styles. If you select a style from a different category, incompatible motion models are automatically switched to the default.

Recommended Generation Settings#

A built-in style can define a recommended image model, motion model, and aspect ratio. Selecting the style applies those values to the generation settings and shows a source indicator. Reset restores the settings that were active before the style recommendation was applied.

Style and Script Enhancement#

When you use Enhance Script, the selected style's configuration is passed to the AI. The enhanced screenplay is tailored to match the style's visual language — for example, a noir style produces darker, moodier descriptions while a vibrant pop-art style produces bold, colorful ones.
